The first, tiniest inkling that something, somewhere, has gone terribly wrong. It seems that this book was really aimed at adolescent boys who find bodily functions amusing.
I have yet to study The Meaning of Liff ; in fact, I’ve owned this one for ages, but never even seen part one. Long strip of paper or tape which has got tangled round the wheel of something.
