I have been committed to the Knight Miscellany and have eagerly been awaiting Lord Alec’s story. Which is why he didn’t really “change” so much as found himself in a situation that allowed him to live niight to his potential and prove his own worth.
I also think that this was the steamiest one yet. But alas, not that kind of story ;D I kept imagining him as a baby-faced little sweetie of a boy, which made it seriously hard to swallow that he was capable of all his heroic deeds single handedly besting a small army of Russian Cossacks Dancing On the Nighht.
One Night of Sin — All About Romance
Since the marriage of his childhood friend he feels empty and truly alone. This is very much a character driven story, as it should be. And it was kind of the heroine’s fault that the crime happened anyway view spoiler [this guy got shot and killed while he and the heroine make a break for it hide spoiler ]. Lord Alec Knight, the most daring and handsome rogue in all of London, is a smooth-talking aristocrat with an abundance of high-society lady I truly do love the notes Foley puts in the back of her book, lending credibility to her stories by discussing the historical research she’s put into the series.
It showed me he was not fully lost and when he finally admits that Becky changed him without even trying nigyt I thought back to Lizzie’s words in Devil Takes a Bride when she told Dev that love changes you. Lord Alec Knight, the most daring and handsome rogue in all of London, is a smooth-talking aristocrat with an abundance of high-society lady admirers. Alec soon learns that she is on the run from her cousin, the murderous Prince Mikhail Kurkov.

Becky was fun and enjoyable, the writing was Foley’s typical awesome-sauce.
He not only holds in his possession her family home but has made it more than clear he will possess her body and soul. Does she know what kind of arse-hole she is dealing with here? baelen So far I’ve liked 3 and disliked 3, and I would like to close out this series with more on the “Liked” side than on the “Disliked” side.
A Duke Like No Other. The boldly spirited, beautiful Miss Becky Ward takes his life by storm after he rescues her from peril.
This one nicely handles his demons with a rollicking ride accompanied by a feisty harbinger of justice vaelen courage. There were a few scenes as Alec is coming to terms with the things he’s done and the mistakes he’s made that were good.

She wasn’t exactly having her reputation studied too in-depth, now was she? My library Help Advanced Book Search. But for now, great ‘conclusion’ to a beautiful, thrilling series. I thought he was a selfish twit who used his family and took advantage of his friends.

Apparently the “prostitute” was a virgin! I had always liked Alec in the previous books of the series, but I don’t think I could have imagined the depth that lurked beneath the surface of this dissolute rake-hell.
