These are the chapters that argue for the reason this subject is so very important. Unfortunately, Steger seems to completely lose the plot in chapter 6, which is supposedly about “the ecological dimension of globalization” but is actually just a straightforward description of the way that humanity is damaging the environment.


It was an interesting textbook, but still a textbook. I would recommend this book to anyone who likes politics, government issues, economics, and human nature.
