As someone who was approaching my climbs from a perspective of accomplishment, this book has been a real eye opener. You were climbing in order to be finished climbing.

The concepts expressed in Escaladorres Warrior’s Way are seemingly applicable to every aspect of life. This was my first cl Excellent book. The fear of the fall, the self talk over the crux or the frustration around set backs all come into play on the wall and in day to day challenges.

It’s something you learn by doing. I picked up a few mental habits for living life in general.

That being said, however, I found the book to be full of platitudes and easier said than done concepts that lacked any meaningful recommendations as to entrenamieento to implement these changes in my mindset while climbing. Last time I climbed I had only read the first step ‘Becoming Conscious’ step of this book but I think it did positively affect my climbin This book focuses escalasores the mental aspects of climbing. A lot of references to sport climbing which I wasn’t familiar with.
